Svadharma is a Sanskrit word, where ‘Sva’ means self and ‘dharma’ means your law and duty – i.e. the reason you were put on this planet.
These virtues are there to be enjoyed by the unrealised person. Realised souls who have transcended body-mind-intelligence… become one with the infinite, supreme Truth, known as your Brahman or True Authentic Higher Self.
The thing is, you are already liberated (nitya mukta), to be full and complete, one with the infinite, pure consciousness, it’s just that you haven’t realised it yet, hence you are still living in your svadharma. The process of svadharma or self-realisation is to become aware that:
I am not the enjoyer.
I am pure knowledge and bliss.
I am siva, auspicious itself.
I abide in my supreme self, atmanubhava.
I abide in a supreme state of liberation, nirvana.
